XIPHI
XIPHI is a self-defense training grounds and school located in the earth district. it is open to everyone of any skill set, from those who do not have experience in self-defense to those who are well-versed in it. the business hires well-trained individuals to teach classes of varying experience levels to ensure safety and security when zodion is, inevitably, attacked.
HISTORY
XIPHI was founded and created by prince arthur pendragon in 2011. Prince Arthur was well trained in combat and self-defense, and took it upon himself to teach those who were eager to learn such skills. Xiphi had a variety of talented trainers, skilled in various types of combat, who trained those who had no experience with fighting and helped sharpen the skills of those who did have experience.
The business was handed to Grell after Prince Arthur returned home. When Grell departed, the Twelve gave the business to Caroline Forbes.
However, during the Great Flood, the location of Xiphi had changed. The flood had caused Xiphi to be transplated from its original location in the Fire District to its new home in the Earth District.
Sometime after the move, Caroline had departed from Zodion and ownership temporarily fell upon Allen Walker and Katniss Everdeen. The two had requested aid and Lightning Farron offered to help by taking primary ownership of Xiphi. Allen and Katniss had offered to remain as a helper and part-time instructor, respectively.

USE OF TRAINING GROUNDSThere is one large area where anyone can come and use on their own time. If you wish for some more private training, there are some smaller (indoor) areas that are available by appointment. You also will be charged a small one-time entry fee to use the grounds, so please check in with the receptionist before commencing with your training! All paid users will have to show their badge somewhere on their person at all times. If you do not have a badge, you will be asked to leave or pay the receptionist.

GROUNDS
XIPHI is located in a remote part of the Earth District and encompasses a large area, a very large area. Once you pass the tall wooden gates that surround the premises, you will immediately find yourself in an open air area with multiple straw dummies scattered everywhere with a single path leading toward the main building. There are also some sparring rings spread across the front lawn of Xiphi for any and all fighters to use on their own time.
Inside the main building, you will be greeted by a receptionist who will helpfully assist you for any needs you may have. The main building houses at least two large rooms that serve as classrooms. One room is the kind you would expect in a karate school with mirrored walls and padded floors. The second classroom is large room with straw mats that would possibly be at home in any kendo dojo. It also has a set of sliding rice paper doors that lead back into the front lawn.
One wing of the building is reserved for the instructors and their offices which they may decorate to their own tastes and preferences. There is also a small teacher's lounge and infirmary for any on-site (minor) injuries to be attended to.
The wing opposite of the Teachers Wing belongs to more private rooms that can serve for one-on-one tutoring between an instructor and their student. There are at least five rooms in total for use, measuring roughly 15 by 15 ft. These rooms can also be reserved for private use by anyone.
Behind the main building, one can find a range that could be used for Archery practice or short-range shooting. Please make sure to check in with the receptionist for use of this range. On some days, the range will be converted for strictly archery use and on other days, it will be be for gun usage.
Also, one last piece of interest is that in the center of the main building is a fairly large open air zen garden for relaxation and mediation. It is in the heart of the main building and all wings lead directly into it. If you wish to use the Zen Garden but not the actual training grounds, you may do so without paying an entrance fee.

WHILE, Xiphi is not a brothel. Sex is not prohibited from the premises because of the nature of the game. We only ask that you clean up after yourselves and leave no trace of what had transpired. Or there will be thunderstorms rolling onto the premises and we won't want that to happen. Ever. You'll also manage to preserve Allen's brain from breakage, too.
